3 Iron swing 29th May 09. Any comments would be welcome compared with videos of my swing over a year ago. Having seen it I'm surprised to see my swing plane still looking a little flatter than i'd like - thought I'd rectified that. What do you think? That I believe leads to my inconsistencies. Any suggestions???

Work that rotation drill I did in the video and you will see a great improvement.

My 3 Iron swing, 24th Jan 08. I've been working on shortening my backswing as I tend to overswing. Also I have been pulling the ball left as I don't transfer my weight properly sometimes. I play off 17 h/cap. My 3 Iron usually goes 205 yards. Today was clear but a bit windy. Any comments would be appreciated.

no problem at all. ... By: streetsk8trs. on 06 Sep 08, 23:53:24 no problem at all. i dont mean to be picky but another thing. you seem to be a little off balance on your down swing at 00:34 that could also be from moving your feet too much while setting up.

you are taking too ... By: highgrade1980. on 04 Sep 08, 04:09:55 you are taking too long over the ball. im not qualified to judge ur swing, but generally speaking, standing over the ball 2 long = more likely a poor shot. that's the one adjustment that i made in my game that showed the greatest improvement in the shortest amount of time. when playing well, my preshot routine takes about 10 seconds from the time i have decided my club. i look at my target, set up to the ball, look one more time at my target imagining the ball flight/shape, then hit the ball.
you take a little ... By: streetsk8trs. on 21 Jul 08, 13:42:12 you take a little too long to set up. maybe just a few more seconds shorter could improve your game. other than that you have a GREAT swing.

your backswing is ... By: joking12345678900. on 08 Apr 08, 11:07:23 your backswing is too fast, this makes your body move and therefore the weight transfer isnt right, just try and slow it down and sometimes, even if you relax your swing it still goes as far.

This swing is pretty good; try to use the forward press technique from the second half of the "takeaway Video" to start your swing; feel more of a tossing back of the arms with the turn of the hips...this will give you more width...I will finish in the response to your email...Shawn
