The story about "the rich man" isn't about who you believe in, but whether or not you are a generous person. The rich man wasn't being tormented by a literal fire, but a corrective fire. He was speaking too rational to be in a literal fire of torment, but he certainly was in a lot of shame. Even the Bible Belt translators suggests that "the dipping of the tip of his finger in water is evocative of thirst", not the cooling down of one in real fire.

John 3:16 says god loved the world, and the old testement talked about sin and when you read the bible you see that people who first were real christians turned from god to go off and sin and those people would later fall victim to there own sin and have a negative impact on many generations to come. So for someone to walk away from truth, and leave it for sin which leads to hell.

Your god is a very evil character in both the Bible and the Quran. He ritualistically kills people in the old testament and is generally just really pissed off and is an egomaniac. He only loves the Jews and pretty much fucking hates everyone else. Why would a god who created the universe hate so many people in the old testament, why does he need blood sacrifices? Allah is just like your god, its Muhammed that is pretty much their Jesus so stop getting the two confused. Anyways, Muslims dont believe in original sin, they believe Adams sin was his and his alone so they dont need a Christ figure like you Christians do to forgive your sins. They believe instead that Muhammed was purely a prophet and so was Jesus. They instead think that they just need to pray for forgiveness from Allah or God. Allah is Abrahams God just like your God is, they are the same.
